With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gareth Child in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Satordi saved Elizabeth Three Lions FC from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Scholten. Peter Robson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Scholten in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Elstree Town's Gareth Child nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Satordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Richard Scholten's late challenge caught a Elstree Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Scholten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Richard Scholten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gareth Child struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jesus Satordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elstree Town.

The wind increased when Gareth Child made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Elstree Town's goal looked a bit too open when Cvetin Luković came free, but Peter Robson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gareth Child who took care of the corner kick. Gareth Child made a great header on Elstree Town's corner, it was just that Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi managed to reach the ball for a save.
