Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Ed Moore in the 12th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emilio Posada was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for DS Milan through an amazing save. After 13 minutes DS Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cvetin Luković who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Elizabeth Three Lions FC's corner Richard Butler fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emilio Posada quite easily take care of the ball. Ed Moore struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Emilio Posada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elizabeth Three Lions FC. The supporters of Elizabeth Three Lions FC booed when DS Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Widdrington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Scholten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Posada was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Danny Ings capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danny Ings really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syd Barrett in the 31st minute of play forced Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Jesus Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match DS Milan got a corner. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Barney Widdrington ran over to the corner to take the kick. DS Milan's Barney Widdrington was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jesus Satordi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emilio Posada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Scholten in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to DS Milan getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sidney Groom hit a great ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Richard Scholten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Scholten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 彭翔德 charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 彭翔德 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elizabeth Three Lions FC made a substitution. Alastair Howson replaced Louis Lobb. After 48 played minutes DS Milan got a freekick which was hit by 彭翔德. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Scholten to make the kick off. DS Milan's Emilio Posada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Butler in the 55th minute of play. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 彭翔德 in the 56th minute of play. Emilio Posada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Moore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes DS Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cvetin Luković who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Qian Shu Chong to a score. 2-0 in the 60th minute. 彭翔德 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jesus Satordi made a huge save. After 66 played minutes Elizabeth Three Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Qian Shu Chong. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Spike Pritchard was substituted for Alonso Quesada. When DS Milan's 彭翔德 in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute of the match DS Milan got a corner. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Danny Ings had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Posada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Ings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when 彭翔德 came free, but Jesus Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute 彭翔德 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Satordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Butler kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 彭翔德 in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Satordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Scholten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, DS Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Scholten came free, but Emilio Posada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Butler in the 90th minute of play forced DS Milan's goalkeeper Emilio Posada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jesus Satordi managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when DS Milan's 彭翔德 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Wilson during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Paul Wilson hit a great ball. DS Milan's 彭翔德 got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while DS Milan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
