In the 8th minute Ruben Higginson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Franz Midgley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Estevon was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 30th minute of the match T H F C got a corner. Ashley Down Athletic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Gillow ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on T H F C's corner Daniel Gillow fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Estevon quite easily take care of the ball. Roberto Estevon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franz Midgley's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When T H F C's Donny Beckwith in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashley Down Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ashley Down Athletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Midgley in the 41st minute of play forced Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Midgley in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Franz Midgley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Estevon was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Midgley in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthew Macken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Midgley, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Roberto Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Midgley in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Franz Midgley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Estevon was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Roberto Estevon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 66th match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Midgley to maneuver through the defense. Ashley Down Athletic's Roberto Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Midgley in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Higginson during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Will Starr hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ashley Down Athletic's zone, Shawn Coulson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Estevon came out of the goal and Shawn Coulson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Shakespeare in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Estevon saved Ashley Down Athletic from getting behind. After 93 minutes, Samuel Shakespeare made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ashley Down Athletic's Roberto Estevon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. T H F C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
