Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ashley Down Athletic's Matthew Macken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Öberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Ashley Down Athletic's goalkeeper Roberto Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe Le Petit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Helks in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of TibaDons booed when Ashley Down Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Pitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. TibaDons's Pepe Le Petit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ed Helks in the 20th minute of play. Pepe Le Petit came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ashley Down Athletic's Ruben Higginson. But to his dismay, Ruben Higginson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ashley Down Athletic's Roberto Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Öberg in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Eneko in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Estevon saved Ashley Down Athletic from getting behind. Roberto Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Öberg in the 37th minute of play. When TibaDons's Anier Eneko in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashley Down Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Per-Erik Öberg struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Roberto Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TibaDons. In the 43rd minute, Will Starr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Ashley Down Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Ed Helks. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anier Eneko made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Ashley Down Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Vern Hatcher. Roberto Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, Ashley Down Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warren Barrett to maneuver through the defense. Per-Erik Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Roberto Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Les Tinker hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Anier Eneko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Roberto Estevon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Matthew Macken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pepe Le Petit was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 3-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Ed Helks elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pepe Le Petit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Helks in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ed Helks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepe Le Petit. TibaDons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Helks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 85 minutes into the match, Ashley Down Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Eneko came free, but Roberto Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Eneko in the 85th minute of play. Roberto Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Eneko in the 88th minute of play. John Donnelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Roberto Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
