Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute, one of Yate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yate. The audience was convinced that Tami Benkirat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chams Hanoune was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Tami Benkirat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Raouf Benyagoub got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Bachir Zarabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chams Hanoune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tami Benkirat in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute Tami Benkirat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chams Hanoune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bachir Zarabi to strike the kick off in the second half. Bachir Zarabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fadel Chaouchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bachir Zarabi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 played minutes Yate got a freekick which was hit by Sami Medjoudj. Yate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Brighton the free kick. Newfel Yachir shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
