Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raouf Boulahfane got the match started through his kick off. Abdelbassir Moll's late challenge caught a Ashburton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdelbassir Moll helped the player get up and apologised. 6 minutes into the match, Ashburton FC's Afaghis Ziani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camel Rimitti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ashburton FC's Farid Abdelkrim got a free kick in the 20th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Worksop's goalkeeper Camel Rimitti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hocine Belkhadem. Afaghis Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Camel Rimitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Raouf Boulahfane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akatelaji Kharroubi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Ashburton FC got a freekick which was hit by Farid Abdelkrim. The supporters of Worksop booed when Ashburton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Mehenni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Worksop's Raouf Boulahfane made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Akatelaji Kharroubi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afaghis Ziani to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Yacine Bensaoula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Worksop's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ashburton FC the free kick. In the 59th minute of the match Bouabdellah Merdaci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camel Rimitti skillfully saved the ball. Raouf Boulahfane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akatelaji Kharroubi having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Lakhdar Mehenni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Youcef Baboudji struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Akatelaji Kharroubi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Worksop. In the 75th match minute, Ashburton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakhdar Mehenni to maneuver through the defense. Badr Mazigh lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Hocine Belkhadem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Youcef Baboudji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Ashburton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raouf Boulahfane came free, but Akatelaji Kharroubi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hocine Belkhadem took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camel Rimitti. Camel Rimitti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Raouf Boulahfane might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akatelaji Kharroubi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raouf Boulahfane ran back to his position shaking his head. The Ashburton FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Worksop's performance. The match ended with a win for Worksop.
