If Ali Tétah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stéphane Chaouchi came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Long Hanborough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stéphane Chaouchi couldn't finish the play. Stéphane Chaouchi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Amri Abdelcrim made a huge save. Kader Ouadah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afaghis Amirouche in the 12th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Amri Abdelcrim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Atik Soltani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amri Abdelcrim having to interfere. Ilyas Zaccari kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Afaghis Amirouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kader Ouadah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billel Reda Madouni charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billel Reda Madouni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Mokdad Kerkar came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Southampton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mokdad Kerkar couldn't finish the play. Kader Ouadah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Tétah, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Tétah in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kader Ouadah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Afaghis Amirouches short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Kader Ouadah to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 58 minutes into the game, Lamine Djazouli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southampton City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Long Hanborough the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Southampton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamine Djazouli to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Long Hanborough's Atik Soltani got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ali Tétah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kader Ouadah having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Long Hanborough's Stéphane Chaouchi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amri Abdelcrim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Afaghis Amirouche came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Southampton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afaghis Amirouche couldn't finish the play. Long Hanborough's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southampton City the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Osmane Daham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Southampton City's Billel Reda Madouni got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Billel Reda Madouni off the ground. The Long Hanborough supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Southampton City's performance. The match ended with a win for Southampton City.
