The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hani Nemchi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Dylan El Ouafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahmoud Hima, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Dylan El Ouafi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issam Dziri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Losif Bendjedid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hosni Cherrad in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Semah Yahia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fowey and the Bury players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fowey's Semah Yahia got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Bury got a freekick which was hit by Semah Zidane. Issam Dziri scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan El Ouafi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Issam Dziri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan El Ouafi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Dylan El Ouafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salah Aflelou, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mouloud Harkouk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Losif Bendjedid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Ghazi Lourdjane shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dylan El Ouafi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Mahmoud Hima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dylan El Ouafi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hosni Cherrad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Losif Bendjedid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Issam Dziri made the kick off in the second half. If Hosni Cherrad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Mouloud Harkouk came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Fowey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Harkouk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bury's Salah Aflelou got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Bury's goal looked a bit too open when Hosni Cherrad came free, but Losif Bendjedid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hosni Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Losif Bendjedid having to interfere. Bury's Losif Bendjedid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hosni Cherrad in the 61st minute of play. Losif Bendjedid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hosni Cherrad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hosni Cherrad struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Losif Bendjedid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fowey. Issam Dziri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dylan El Ouafi came out and tried to block the shot, but Issam Dziri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes, Salah Aflelou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bury and the Fowey players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bury getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Salah Aflelou hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Issam Dziri took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Dylan El Ouafi to make any attempt to save it. Issam Dziri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dylan El Ouafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bury's Salah Aflelou got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Salah Aflelou off the ground. The supporters of Fowey booed when Bury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salah Aflelou didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mouloud Harkouk came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Fowey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mouloud Harkouk couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bury eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
