Yamine Bouteflika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meziane El Kettani, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes, Mouloud Benboudaoud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wembley City and the Selsdon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelatif Fadhil got free with Hamza El Ibrahimi in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Selsdon FC's Abdelatif Fadhil got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Selsdon FC's zone, Zakaria Brahimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yamine Bouteflika came out of the goal and Zakaria Brahimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilian Achiu charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilian Achiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Amawal Djenane sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Selsdon FC's Yamine Bouteflika didn't even have to move. Hamza El Ibrahimi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamel Ouar, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes Wembley City got a freekick which was hit by Rabie Hemdani. Yamine Bouteflika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zakaria Brahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelatif Fadhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamza El Ibrahimi having to interfere.
