Ifthen Benhabiles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sayed Fetani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Djamil Cavalli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lyazzide Guergour was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Lyazzide Guergour came out of the goal and Rayane Beloufa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Issam Halimi fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eastcote's protests and gave Issam Halimi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Eastcote getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Issam Halimi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayane Beloufa in the 46th minute of play forced Swinton's goalkeeper Lyazzide Guergour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rayane Beloufa was the one to do the kick off. The Eastcote supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Eastcote would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
