When Camil Sami came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cheltenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camil Sami couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cheltenham booed when Eastcote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadji Kahouadji didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Rayane Beloufa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rayane Beloufa to make the kick off. In the 67th minute, Ismaël Oulhaci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Rayane Beloufa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hachem Mouzaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lili Djebar in the 70th minute of play forced Eastcote's goalkeeper Ifthen Benhabiles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayane Beloufa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hachem Mouzaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Djamil Cavalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheltenham's Hachem Mouzaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayane Beloufa in the 79th minute of play. Eastcote's Rayane Beloufa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rayane Beloufa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hachem Mouzaoui having to interfere. With a little luck, Eastcote's Ifthen Benhabiles got control of the ball when Camil Sami tried to sneak it across the goal line.
