After a defensive mix-up in Hextable's zone, Karim Moussa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed Guellil came out of the goal and Karim Moussa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karim Moussa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Hextable's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Woodham Ferrers the free kick. Farès Ali kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Lili Rabiâ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mohamed Guellil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lili Rabiâ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hextable getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Abdelmalek Zaaf hit a great ball. Mohamed Guellil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Moussa in the 41st minute. After 74 minutes, Araslane Merbah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the South Woodham Ferrers and the Hextable players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Brahim Kermali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Mesbah Belbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, South Woodham Ferrers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djallel Khelfellah to maneuver through the defense. South Woodham Ferrers's Mehdi Bitat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mesbah Belbey in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Moussa in the 96th minute of play forced Hextable's goalkeeper Mohamed Guellil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Lili Rabiâ made a precise shot to the right of Mohamed Guellil. Hextable's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
