Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lichfield's Abdelhani Ghazi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Chérif Aribi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lichfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hockley United the free kick. In the 4th minute, Chérif Aribi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Hockley United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lichfield:s goal. Tahar Dahmane had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Hani Kacha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hockley United's Tahar Dahmane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Hockley United from getting a goal against them. Abdelhani Ghazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes in the game, Abdelhafid Bestandji dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Kheireddine Asma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mohamed El Karimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hockley United getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bachir Ziani hit a great ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdelhafid Bestandji to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lichfield's zone, Kheireddine Asma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohamed El Karimi came out of the goal and Kheireddine Asma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes of play, Lichfield's Marwan Meriem made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tahar Dahmane was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Kheireddine Asma got free with Mohamed El Karimi in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes, Akmin Debbagh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lichfield and the Hockley United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lichfield getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Akmin Debbagh hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Lichfield's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhafid Bestandji came free, but Mohamed El Karimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kheireddine Asma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed El Karimi having to interfere. Kheireddine Asma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mohamed El Karimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhafid Bestandji recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rabie Medjiba hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Lichfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hani Kacha in the 93rd minute. Lichfield's Malek Abbas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tahar Dahmane in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Abdelhani Ghazi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tahar Dahmane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
