Hunstanton FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Barkingside United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Badis Athbedj took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nassim Benkirat in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hachemi Aribi saved Barkingside United from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Barkingside United's goal looked a bit too open when Nassim Benkirat came free, but Hachemi Aribi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hachemi Aribi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nassim Benkirat in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Lamine Zaghidour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hunstanton FC's Khaldoun Ouadah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kateb Zeghdoud in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Barkingside United booed when Hunstanton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Hamyane didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
