When Zakaria Laref fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harringay's protests and gave Zakaria Laref a yellow card for diving instead. Zakaria Laref hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Hamid Djamel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Azregh Douibi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Brahim Boulebda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fordham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brahim Boulebda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hamid Djamel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fordham's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Djamel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azregh Douibi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Hamid Bitat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
