The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chahine Benzaghou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rayan Derbouz in the 7th minute. If Rayan Derbouz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achik Baïri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naïm Kourichi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Felixstowe's Samy Mérah-Benida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chahine Benzaghou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chahine Benzaghou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samy Mérah-Benida in the 16th minute of play. Rayan Derbouz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Chahine Benzaghou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samy Mérah-Benida was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Chabane Zaccari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Upminster AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Affi Boudjedra hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Zahir Zidane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarik Mamouni struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Chahine Benzaghou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felixstowe. Chabane Zaccari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naïm Kourichi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Chabane Zaccari came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Upminster AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chabane Zaccari couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Naïm Kourichi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achik Baïri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Achik Baïri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Affi Boudjedra in the 66th minute. Chabane Zaccari's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Achik Baïri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rayan Derbouz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chahine Benzaghou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Samy Mérah-Benida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chahine Benzaghou was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Chahine Benzaghou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abderraouf Malek, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Nadji Lkbira's late challenge caught a Felixstowe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nadji Lkbira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Upminster AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadji Lkbira to maneuver through the defense. Tarik Mamouni was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Chahine Benzaghou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rayan Derbouz in the 88th minute of play. Chabane Zaccari took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Achik Baïri. Achik Baïri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Upminster AFC defense, Rayan Derbouz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chahine Benzaghou. The Upminster AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chahine Benzaghou should have stopped the shot. The Upminster AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Felixstowe from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
