When Djabir El Hadi fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Codicote's protests and gave Djabir El Hadi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Enfield booed when Codicote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djabir El Hadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Enfield's Reda Iles tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Kamil Cherfa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codicote the free kick. After 23 minutes, Nadir Lammari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Codicote and the Enfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noureddine Masmouda in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 46th minute, Kamil Cherfa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noureddine Masmouda was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Masmouda in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. The referee gave Djabir El Hadi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th match minute, Codicote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djabir El Hadi to maneuver through the defense. Yacine Bendjedid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rami Moussaoui in the 80th minute of the match.
