In the 38th minute, Walid Bouraada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liss United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Mohamed Zaâmoum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. After 45 minutes of play, Comberton United's Adal Oussar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chedli Guendouz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Zaâmoum to strike the kick off in the second half. Adal Oussar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. With an all-out effort, Comberton United's Chedli Guendouz threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohamed Zaâmoum, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 66 minutes into the match, Mohamed Zaâmoum notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Liss United's Chedli Guendouz. Chedli Guendouz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Comberton United booed when Liss United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibrahim Segni didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Zaâmoum in the 72nd minute of play forced Liss United's goalkeeper Chedli Guendouz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zahid Reda Madouni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Akram Yahlali went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Liss United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
