Kenilworth United's Mustapha Merniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Kenilworth United from getting a goal against them. Rahim Merbah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustapha Merniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Djillali Bachdjerrah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amayas Akvayli's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes, Hassan Lourdjane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flushing and the Kenilworth United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hassan Lourdjane hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Kenilworth United got a freekick which was hit by Lammouri Messayeb. Souad Khadra struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Mustapha Merniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flushing. If Rahim Merbah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flushing's goalkeeper Djillali Bachdjerrah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amayas Akvayli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djillali Bachdjerrah having to interfere. If Amayas Akvayli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amayas Akvayli charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amayas Akvayli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Kenilworth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amayas Akvayli to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Nahil Reddad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kenilworth United's Mustapha Merniz didn't even have to move. Amayas Akvayli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djillali Bachdjerrah having to interfere. Djillali Bachdjerrah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amine Assad went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Souad Khadra was the one to do the kick off. Mustapha Merniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Merbah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Flushing booed when Kenilworth United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaci Derrida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Souad Khadra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustapha Merniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Souad Khadra, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kheireddine Zeggaï during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Flushing got a freekick which was hit by Kheireddine Zeggaï. Amine Assad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djillali Bachdjerrah having to interfere. Djillali Bachdjerrah made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Amayas Akvayli sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st match minute, Kenilworth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdellatif Louahla to maneuver through the defense. Kaci Derrida kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kenilworth United's Mustapha Merniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahim Merbah in the 77th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play Flushing's Hassan Lourdjane was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Flushing getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hassan Lourdjane hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Flushing's Souad Khadra got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Amine Assad lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Djillali Bachdjerrah. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amayas Akvayli got free with Djillali Bachdjerrah in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amayas Akvayli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Amine Assad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djillali Bachdjerrah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenilworth United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
