Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abdelmadjid Benzaghou kicked off to start the match. If Amine Assad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Kenilworth United's goal looked a bit too open when Bayna Brahmia came free, but Mustapha Merniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Madjid Mazzid, was totally fooled by Kenilworth United's Abdellatif Louahla, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Mustapha Merniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinedine Meriem in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Abdelmadjid Benzaghou made a precise shot to the right of Mustapha Merniz. Kenilworth United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Bayna Brahmia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Kenilworth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaci Derrida to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes, Newbiggin's Massoud Lamine Kab shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mustapha Merniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newbiggin reached it. Amayas Akvayli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjid Mazzid having to interfere. Mustapha Merniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelmadjid Benzaghou in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaci Derrida during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kaci Derrida hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With his leg Mustapha Merniz managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Newbiggin's Bayna Brahmia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 64thth minute of the game Abdelmadjid Benzaghou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kenilworth United's Mustapha Merniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Madjid Mazzid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amayas Akvayli's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Newbiggin's goal looked a bit too open when Amine Assad came free, but Madjid Mazzid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Bayna Brahmia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newbiggin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Amine Assad hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mustapha Merniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bayna Brahmia in the 83rd minute. Amayas Akvayli took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Madjid Mazzid. Madjid Mazzid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Amayas Akvayli came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Kenilworth United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amayas Akvayli couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
