Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gebril Djebbour took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Lili Salah notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Crewe City's Abdel Karim Saïd. Abdel Karim Saïd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Leek:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crewe City:s goal. Hamid Yahlali had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Madjer Mezghenna's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gebril Djebbour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Lili Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdel Karim Saïd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gebril Djebbour in the 18th minute of play forced Leek's goalkeeper Hamid Yahlali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Anwa Boufroura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamid Yahlali skillfully saved the ball. Bilal El Ouazzani's late challenge caught a Leek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bilal El Ouazzani helped the player get up and apologised. Rafik Kourichi shot a long shot in the 25th minute and a light blocked Abdel Karim Saïd hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. Madjer Mezghenna placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lili Salah in the 41st minute of play forced Crewe City's goalkeeper Abdel Karim Saïd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Crewe City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leek were winning 0-2.

Abdel Karim Saïd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lili Salah in the 52nd minute of play. Anwa Boufroura's late challenge caught a Leek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anwa Boufroura helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Crewe City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute, Rafik Kourichi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 60 minutes, Ketta Gaddouch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leek and the Crewe City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leek's Ketta Gaddouch got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Gebril Djebbour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crewe City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gebril Djebbour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atmane Saadane in the 69th minute of play forced Leek's goalkeeper Hamid Yahlali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atmane Saadane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute Gebril Djebbour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamid Yahlali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atmane Saadane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atmane Saadane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hamid Yahlali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamid Yahlali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gebril Djebbour in the 93rd minute of play. Lili Salah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdel Karim Saïd having to make a save. Abdel Karim Saïd made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Hamid Saâdane sent off a good shot on target. The Leek supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leek would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
