Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andaz Ben Khalidi kicked off to start the match. Adel Kacha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andaz Ben Khalidi in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes Westhoughton got a freekick which was hit by Youcef Difallah. Westhoughton's Adel Kacha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaz Ben Khalidi in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Hameur Azem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hameur Ziani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hameur Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adel Kacha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelmalik Laref came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Westhoughton's Yannis Khaldi. But to his dismay, Yannis Khaldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Westhoughton's Ahmed Belaout in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wheaton Aston's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Wheaton Aston getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Madjid Bouchemla hit a great ball. Younes Saïdani missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 34 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Abdelmalik Laref right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, Wheaton Aston's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Belaout came free, but Abdelmalik Laref reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wheaton Aston's Andaz Ben Khalidi got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yannis Khaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Abdelmalik Laref tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelmalik Laref showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Belaout, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Westhoughton's Adel Kacha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Westhoughton from getting a goal against them.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmed Belaout to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmed Belaout in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdelmalik Laref saved Wheaton Aston from getting behind. Adel Kacha came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Wheaton Aston's Andaz Ben Khalidi. But to his dismay, Andaz Ben Khalidi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ahmed Belaout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Abdelmalik Laref tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adel Kacha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hameur Ziani in the 63rd minute of play. If Yannis Khaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute Madjid Bouchemla easily got through Westhoughton's defense and fired away a shot, but Adel Kacha leaped left and performed a fabulous save. In the 75th minute, Yannis Khaldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Belaout's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelmalik Laref was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Hameur Ziani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wheaton Aston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Madjid Bouchemla's late challenge caught a Westhoughton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Madjid Bouchemla helped the player get up and apologised. Madjid Bouchemla hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Hameur Ziani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wheaton Aston's supporters rose to their feet, but Hameur Ziani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adel Kacha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Wheaton Aston booed when Westhoughton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Korteby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes Westhoughton's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Madjid Bouchemla who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wheaton Aston had won after a very even match.
