The supporters of Crewe City booed when Wheaton Aston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasdi Temmam didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Crewe City's Madjer Mezghenna broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 5th minute, Balwa Ramdane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Crewe City's zone, Andaz Ben Khalidi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Karim Saïd came out of the goal and Andaz Ben Khalidi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hameur Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Karim Saïd having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Andaz Ben Khalidi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crewe City's Abdel Karim Saïd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Belgacem Fanon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Crewe City's Gebril Djebbour in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wheaton Aston's goalie prevented a goal. Abdel Karim Saïd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andaz Ben Khalidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Crewe City's Abdel Karim Saïd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaz Ben Khalidi in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaz Ben Khalidi in the 31st minute of play forced Crewe City's goalkeeper Abdel Karim Saïd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Belgacem Fanon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Crewe City's Gebril Djebbour, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Crewe City. After 35 played minutes Crewe City got a freekick which was hit by Balwa Ramdane. 41 minutes into the match, Crewe City's goal looked a bit too open when Andaz Ben Khalidi came free, but Abdel Karim Saïd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdel Karim Saïd was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Hameur Azem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hameur Azem really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Crewe City's Abdel Karim Saïd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaz Ben Khalidi in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andaz Ben Khalidi to strike the kick off in the second half. Gebril Djebbour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelmalik Laref having to interfere. Hameur Azem took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdel Karim Saïd. Abdel Karim Saïd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Hameur Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Abdel Karim Saïd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdel Karim Saïd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andaz Ben Khalidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute, Andaz Ben Khalidi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdel Karim Saïd was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Crewe City's Abdel Karim Saïd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hameur Ziani in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Crewe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balwa Ramdane to maneuver through the defense. When Andaz Ben Khalidi came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Wheaton Aston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andaz Ben Khalidi couldn't finish the play. Andaz Ben Khalidi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Abdel Karim Saïd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Wheaton Aston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hameur Azem to maneuver through the defense. Wheaton Aston's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
