To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Mehdi Ramdani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Elsdon United's Said Hadjar got control of the ball when Djafar Belloumi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nassim Dahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Horwich's Cheikha Kheyari slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Said Hadjar. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Said Hadjar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Younes Soltani, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Bilal Haddadj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djamal Deghmani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Younes Soltani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Said Hadjar. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Horwich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheikha Kheyari to maneuver through the defense. Bilal Haddadj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Djamal Deghmani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nassim Dahar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djafar Belloumi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Said Hadjar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Younes Soltani in the 42nd minute of play forced Elsdon United's goalkeeper Said Hadjar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Younes Soltani was the one to do the kick off. Djamal Deghmani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nassim Dahar's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Chafik Ghazi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Elsdon United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fadi Zeggaï hit a great ball. Djamal Deghmani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nassim Dahar in the 63rd minute of the match. If Nassim Dahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Elsdon United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Ramdani to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes, Horwich's Ilassen Belhocine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Said Hadjar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horwich reached it. If Nassim Dahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Djafar Belloumi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horwich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djafar Belloumi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Said Hadjar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Djafar Belloumi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Horwich had won after a very even match.
