If Abdelhamid Lacarne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes, Tenbury Wells City's Ismael Barbarossa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bassim Malek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tenbury Wells City reached it. In the 16th minute Abdelhamid Lacarne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bassim Malek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seddik El Amri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fouad Damardji, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes, Tenbury Wells City's Ismael Barbarossa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bassim Malek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Bishop Auckland's Bassim Malek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akar Benhamou in the 44th minute of play. Abdelhamid Lacarne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bassim Malek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fouad Damardji stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hemza Amri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Bishop Auckland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabri Souibes to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bishop Auckland's Bassim Malek got control of the ball when Hemza Amri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hemza Amri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bassim Malek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bassim Malek didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. If Akar Benhamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Abdelbassir Brahmia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tenbury Wells City's Seddik El Amri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chedli Djaadaoui in the 99th minute of play. The Tenbury Wells City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tenbury Wells City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
