Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fahim Daoud in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdelhafid Heddou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Salih Foughali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Assim Medjani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelhafid Heddou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sevenoaks City's Salih Foughali got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Cambridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hocine Chaffaï to maneuver through the defense. Balwa Brahami was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salih Foughali in the 39th minute of play forced Cambridge's goalkeeper Belkheir Hasni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Assim Medjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Assim Medjani in the 43rd minute of play forced Sevenoaks City's goalkeeper Abdelhafid Heddou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Assim Medjani might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdelhafid Heddou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Assim Medjani ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salih Foughali to make the kick off. If Rochdi Zakaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sevenoaks City fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Sevenoaks City's Salih Foughali looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of Sevenoaks City booed when Cambridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khalida Mhenni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Hocine Chaffaï hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salih Foughali in the 72nd minute of play forced Cambridge's goalkeeper Belkheir Hasni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sevenoaks City's goal looked a bit too open when Fahim Daoud came free, but Abdelhafid Heddou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sevenoaks City's Abdelhafid Heddou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalida Mhenni in the 81st minute of play. Fahim Daoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhafid Heddou having to interfere. Assim Medjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nahil Nemchi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Assim Medjani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belkheir Hasni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesbah Ziri in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Mesbah Ziri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belkheir Hasni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sevenoaks City had won after a very even match.
