Abdessatar Djebbour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bromley AFC. The audience was convinced that Daoud Ziri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beddis Ziri was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Nadjib El Ounès's late challenge caught a Alcester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nadjib El Ounès helped the player get up and apologised. Nadjib El Ounès hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
