Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Norbury FC's Ishak Abid started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amad Baroudi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amad Baroudi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anter Mazzid having to make a save. If Ishak Abid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wantage United getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cherif Djebbour hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ishak Abid in the 13th minute of play forced Wantage United's goalkeeper Anter Mazzid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamza Mezghenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samy Bencheikh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilyes Halimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Norbury FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Madjid Aziz hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Anter Mazzid successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Amad Baroudi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anter Mazzid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Ilyes Halimi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samy Bencheikh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Wantage United's Anter Mazzid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Wantage United from getting a goal against them. Anter Mazzid was a little too slow when Ishak Abid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamza Mezghenna was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Ishak Abid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anter Mazzid was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Samy Bencheikh was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amzun Djenane. Wantage United's Anter Mazzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amad Baroudi in the 59th minute of play. Amad Baroudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Anter Mazzid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ishak Abid in the 68th minute of play forced Wantage United's goalkeeper Anter Mazzid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilyes Halimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilyes Halimi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Wantage United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ishak Abid took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anter Mazzid. Anter Mazzid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Samy Bencheikh was a little too slow when Hamza Mezghenna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amad Baroudi in the 85th minute of play forced Wantage United's goalkeeper Anter Mazzid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Hamza Mezghenna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samy Bencheikh. The goal made the score 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
