With a little luck, Combe Martian's Habib Belghiche got control of the ball when Afsahi Belkacem tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aziz Ezzouaoui during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Alton Towers City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Ezzouaoui to maneuver through the defense. When Aras Saïfi fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alton Towers City's protests and gave Aras Saïfi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Alton Towers City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Saïfi to maneuver through the defense.
