After 4 played minutes Combe Martian got a freekick which was hit by Nacer Saïd. In the 5th minute of the match Amhaws Hamdani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Habib Belghiche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nacer Ben Bella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samy Bencheikh having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Norbury FC got a freekick which was hit by Amhaws Hamdani. 28 minutes into the match, Norbury FC's Amad Baroudi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Habib Belghiche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Nacer Ben Bella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Combe Martian's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacer Ben Bella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes Norbury FC got a freekick which was hit by Afaghis Belfaa. Nadji Metidji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samy Bencheikh having to interfere. Madjid Aziz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Madjid Aziz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Combe Martian booed when Norbury FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madjid Aziz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samy Bencheikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nadji Metidji in the 38th minute of the match. Nadji Metidji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samy Bencheikh having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Afaghis Belfaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes in the game, Nadji Metidji fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Samy Bencheikh having to interfere. Habib Belghiche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ishak Abid in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ishak Abid made the kick off in the second half. If Nacer Ben Bella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amad Baroudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Belghiche having to interfere. Nacer Saïd hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Khalida Zighi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norbury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Combe Martian the free kick. 74 minutes into the game, one of Norbury FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Combe Martian. Madjid Bentifour stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samy Bencheikh. 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, Combe Martian's Nadji Metidji sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samy Bencheikh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bakku El Maleh's late challenge caught a Combe Martian's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bakku El Maleh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Norbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakku El Maleh to maneuver through the defense. Samy Bencheikh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacer Ben Bella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacer Ben Bella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Samy Bencheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Combe Martian's Habib Belghiche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ishak Abid in the 97th minute of play. The Norbury FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Norbury FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
