Zinedine Faudel hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Alton Towers City's Abdul Cerbah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Mezghenna in the 6th minute of play. Afsahi Belkacem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th match minute, Wantage United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cherif Djebbour to maneuver through the defense. Wantage United's Anter Mazzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malik Ben Bella in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamza Mezghenna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdul Cerbah. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Zinedine Faudel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anter Mazzid. Wantage United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Alton Towers City booed when Wantage United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cherif Djebbour didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Alton Towers City's Malik Ben Bella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anter Mazzid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Aziz Ezzouaoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alton Towers City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wantage United the free kick. A collision led to Alton Towers City getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aziz Ezzouaoui hit a great ball. If Hamza Mezghenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Ilyes Halimi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdul Cerbah. The goal made the score 2-0. A hard shot 36 in the game by Ilyes Halimi from a close distance when the talented Abdul Cerbah managed to make a qualified save. Alton Towers City's players were relieved. Hamza Mezghenna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdul Cerbah having to make a save. Wantage United's Anter Mazzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knodi Messaoud in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Hamza Mezghenna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Cerbah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malik Ben Bella to make the kick off. When Ilyes Halimi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Wantage United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilyes Halimi couldn't finish the play. Knodi Messaoud kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Alton Towers City's goal looked a bit too open when Ilyes Halimi came free, but Abdul Cerbah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Malik Ben Bella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alton Towers City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malik Ben Bella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdul Cerbah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamza Mezghenna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamza Mezghenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Abdul Cerbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anter Mazzid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malik Ben Bella in the 76th minute of play. Hamza Mezghenna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdul Cerbah having to interfere. Abdul Cerbah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilyes Halimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Aras Saïfi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Hamza Mezghenna might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdul Cerbah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamza Mezghenna ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Mezghenna in the 86th minute of play forced Alton Towers City's goalkeeper Abdul Cerbah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Zinedine Faudel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alton Towers City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wantage United the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Alton Towers City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wantage United:s goal. The referee gave Wantage United a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abdelnacer Boumedienne, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alton Towers City's Abdul Cerbah. 4-0. Wantage United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
