In the 30thth minute of the game Rafik Taâllah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Croston FC's Kaddour Bezzaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Riad Drioueche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If David Derrida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafik Taâllah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Kaddour Bezzaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaddour Bezzaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Assad Matmour in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kader Saâdane during the 41st minute. If Benamar Ighil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Wrea Green FC defense, Nadir Bessou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lakhdar Zemirline. The Wrea Green FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lakhdar Zemirline should have stopped the shot.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafik Taâllah in the 56th minute of play forced Croston FC's goalkeeper Kaddour Bezzaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yunes Mecherara's late challenge caught a Croston FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yunes Mecherara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Wrea Green FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yunes Mecherara to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Croston FC booed when Wrea Green FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riad Drioueche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafik Taâllah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaddour Bezzaz having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Croston FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wrea Green FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
