After a rather tough play, Williton's Mohamed Benzine got a free kick in the 4th minute. Brahim Bestandji was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Azziz Zakaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giss Maghili having to interfere. Mohamed Benzine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Ramzy Saïb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Williton's Mohamed Benzine in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. St Austell's Giss Maghili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Benzine in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in St Austell's zone, Mohamed Benzine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giss Maghili came out of the goal and Mohamed Benzine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Azziz Zakaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored St Austell's protests and gave Moncef Badis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, St Austell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moncef Badis to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Benzine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Giss Maghili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Benzine in the 48th minute of play forced St Austell's goalkeeper Giss Maghili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Benzine to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sofiane Dahar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brahim Bestandji didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when St Austell's Sofiane Dahar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Williton booed when St Austell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moncef Badis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind St Austell's goalkeeper Giss Maghili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. St Austell's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
