Aggur Mazouna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Bellemou Kherroum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hicham Mezali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool's supporters rose to their feet, but Hicham Mezali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bellemou Kherroum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Liverpool's Hicham Mezali got a free kick in the 28th minute. Aggur Mazouna scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bellemou Kherroum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walid Draï kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walid Draï in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walid Belkheir saved Liverpool from getting behind. Walid Draï received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Walid Belkheir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walid Draï to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdelmoumène Kourichi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walid Belkheir having to make a save. Leigh on Sea AFC's Bellemou Kherroum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hicham Mezali in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Abdelmoumène Kourichi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hicham Mezali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bellemou Kherroum having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Hicham Mezali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hicham Mezali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aggur Mazouna came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggur Mazouna couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelmoumène Kourichi got free with Walid Belkheir in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hicham Mezali in the 88th minute of play forced Leigh on Sea AFC's goalkeeper Bellemou Kherroum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liverpool fans cheered their team off the field, for while Leigh on Sea AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
