After some careless play in the Wantage defense, Atik Aounellah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karim Rzighi. The Wantage fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karim Rzighi should have stopped the shot. Wantage's Mahboub Benkirat couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Keele City. 34 minutes into the match, Keele City's goalkeeper Abdenour Rezzag had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabri Fari. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabri Fari got free with Abdenour Rezzag in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 played minutes Keele City got a freekick which was hit by Fathi Medhaoui. If Sabri Fari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Choukri Abid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdenour Rezzag having to interfere. After the first half Keele City were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Choukri Abid to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wantage's goalkeeper Karim Rzighi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nordine Barbarossa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Karim Rzighi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keele City. When Nordine Barbarossa came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Keele City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nordine Barbarossa couldn't finish the play. When Wantage's Sabri Fari in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keele City's goalie prevented a goal. Sabri Fari took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdenour Rezzag. Abdenour Rezzag dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wantage's goalkeeper Karim Rzighi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Wantage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Choukri Abid to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Wantage getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hakim Meriem hit a great ball. If Choukri Abid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nordine Barbarossa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Karim Rzighi made a huge save. The supporters of Keele City booed when Wantage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Seghiri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atik Aounellah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karim Rzighi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atik Aounellah in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
