Raouf Bouzid's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Mourad Thabet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mourad Thabet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahaszzi Boumedienne in the 14th minute of play. With his leg Mourad Thabet managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Congresbury FC's Ahaszzi Boumedienne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Raouf Bouzid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Abdelhafid Yahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amine Belloumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abid Zaghloul kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Amine Belloumi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zizou Hemdani in the 24th minute of the match. Zizou Hemdani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Amine Belloumi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Swinton United's zone, Raouf Bouzid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mourad Thabet came out of the goal and Raouf Bouzid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ahaszzi Boumedienne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Zizou Hemdani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahaszzi Boumedienne made a kick off. Zizou Hemdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abid Zaghloul's late challenge caught a Swinton United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abid Zaghloul helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Swinton United booed when Congresbury FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abid Zaghloul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelhafid Yahia in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amine Belloumi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amine Belloumi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Abdelhafid Yahia sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Swinton United's goal looked a bit too open when Ahaszzi Boumedienne came free, but Mourad Thabet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelhakim Athbedj charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelhakim Athbedj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Swinton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhakim Athbedj to maneuver through the defense. Congresbury FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
