Cheikh Mazari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Habib Yahi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clay Cross City's Habib Yahi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Clay Cross City from getting a goal against them. Bazil Radjef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Sam, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Habib Yahi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheikh Mazari, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Cheikh Mazari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Faouzi Sam came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Clay Cross City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faouzi Sam couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Hayle United's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Djeballi came free, but Bazil Radjef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Djeballi to make the kick off. Ali Djeballi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ali Khaled fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clay Cross City's protests and gave Ali Khaled a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Clay Cross City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Khaled to maneuver through the defense. If Ali Djeballi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Ali Djeballi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hayle United's Bazil Radjef. Bazil Radjef was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ali Djeballi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bazil Radjef read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Youcef Lacen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hayle United and the Clay Cross City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Youcef Lacen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Faouzi Sam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bazil Radjef was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Faouzi Sam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Djeballi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ali Djeballi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bazil Radjef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bazil Radjef made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faouzi Sam in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Amine Dahmane sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Habib Yahi skillfully saved the ball. Habib Yahi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheikh Mazari in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clay Cross City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
