After a defensive mix-up in Buxton's zone, Rabah Zeghoudi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dassi Kouri came out of the goal and Rabah Zeghoudi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yazid Tayebi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dassi Kouri having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kamel Zeghdoud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camel Touati was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Wisbech's Dassi Kouri threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rabah Zeghoudi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Buxton's Dassi Kouri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rabah Zeghoudi in the 40th minute of play. Abdelmalik Soumati kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Wisbech's Azzouz Kensi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Buxton. Yazid Tayebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dassi Kouri made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Rabah Zeghoudi sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamel Zeghdoud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Yazid Tayebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wisbech getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Azzouz Kensi hit a great ball. Rabah Zeghoudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dassi Kouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Tayebi in the 70th minute of play forced Buxton's goalkeeper Dassi Kouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dassi Kouri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Tayebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yazid Tayebi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dassi Kouri saved Buxton from getting behind. After 81 played minutes Wisbech got a freekick which was hit by Said Mezghenna. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Abdelhafid Mansouri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buxton's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhafid Mansouri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camel Touati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wisbech's Rabah Zeghoudi got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dassi Kouri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabah Zeghoudi in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yazid Tayebi in the 96th minute of play forced Buxton's goalkeeper Dassi Kouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, Buxton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayan Ziani to maneuver through the defense. Wisbech's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
