Salah Djenane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timsbury. Hakim Bezzaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salah Djenane having to interfere. When Timsbury's Choukri Guendouz in 14 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Salah Djenane guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 22nd match minute, Timsbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amjad Ibrir to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Nasserredine Zidane made a precise shot to the right of Zine-Eddine Zerouali. Timsbury's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Azziz Boumedienne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute of the match Timsbury got a corner. Ashford's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a defensive mix-up in Ashford's zone, Choukri Guendouz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salah Djenane came out of the goal and Choukri Guendouz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nasserredine Zidane to strike the kick off in the second half. Zine-Eddine Zerouali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amad Bencherif in the 53rd minute of the match. Timsbury's Hakim Bezzaz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Timsbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Choukri Guendouz to maneuver through the defense. Nasserredine Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zine-Eddine Zerouali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ashford's Idir Zidane got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hakim Bezzaz scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salah Djenane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 played minutes, Ashford's Fouad Nekkar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zine-Eddine Zerouali came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ashford reached it. If Hakim Bezzaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakim Bezzaz scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salah Djenane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salah Djenane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Choukri Guendouz in the 99th minute of play.
