A beautiful save bye Timsbury's goalie prevented a goal. When Ramzi Dali Bey came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Swaffham United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramzi Dali Bey couldn't finish the play. Billel Soltani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Choukri Guendouz in the 11th minute of play. If Choukri Guendouz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramzi Dali Bey struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Zine-Eddine Zerouali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swaffham United. Zine-Eddine Zerouali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmadjid Nasri in the 22nd minute of the match. Toufik Mihoubi's late challenge caught a Swaffham United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toufik Mihoubi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Swaffham United booed when Timsbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toufik Mihoubi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Timsbury's goal looked a bit too open when Ramzi Dali Bey came free, but Zine-Eddine Zerouali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zine-Eddine Zerouali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramzi Dali Bey went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ramzi Dali Bey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zine-Eddine Zerouali having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Swaffham United's Abdelmadjid Nasri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zine-Eddine Zerouali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zine-Eddine Zerouali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramzi Dali Bey, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Choukri Guendouz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Zine-Eddine Zerouali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelmadjid Nasri in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Swaffham United's goal looked a bit too open when Choukri Guendouz came free, but Billel Soltani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Swaffham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdel Zaghouane to maneuver through the defense. Billel Soltani came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Timsbury's Choukri Guendouz. But to his dismay, Choukri Guendouz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Billel Soltani didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Timsbury's Choukri Guendouz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Amjad Ibrir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Billel Soltani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Swaffham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramzi Dali Bey to maneuver through the defense. Ramzi Dali Bey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Zine-Eddine Zerouali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelmadjid Nasri got free with Zine-Eddine Zerouali in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 minutes, Yanis Addi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timsbury and the Swaffham United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Naoufel Kahouadji shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 99th minute of the match Swaffham United got a corner. Timsbury's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naoufel Kahouadji ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Cheb Choaïb heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Swaffham United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
