After a defensive mix-up in Stockport City's zone, Hamdane Mezair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahmoud Mimoun came out of the goal and Hamdane Mezair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ringwood getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hamdane Mezair hit a great ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Bayna Rodesli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockport City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayna Rodesli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khalil El Amri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayna Rodesli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamdane Mezair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mahmoud Mimoun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamdane Mezair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30thth minute of the game Abdeldjalil Merah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ringwood's Khalil El Amri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Samy Benbitour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khalil El Amri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdeldjalil Merah in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Ringwood got a freekick which was hit by Samy Benbitour. In the 45th minute, Ringwood's Samy Benbitour ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mahmoud Mimoun. Mahmoud Mimoun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Samy Benbitour made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Samy Benbitour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stockport City's Mahmoud Mimoun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mahmoud Mimoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samy Benbitour in the 56th minute of play. If Bayna Rodesli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Hamdane Mezair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mahmoud Mimoun. Stockport City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamdane Mezair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Hamdane Mezair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khalil Hanin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ringwood's Khalil El Amri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Ringwood from getting a goal against them. Stockport City's Mahmoud Mimoun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdane Mezair in the 77th minute of play. Mahmoud Mimoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samy Benbitour in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Abdeldjalil Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalil El Amri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Heddou's late challenge caught a Ringwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Heddou helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Adam Heddou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samy Benbitour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ringwood's Khalil El Amri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdeldjalil Merah in the 90th minute of play. Khalil El Amri made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Bayna Rodesli sent off a good shot on target. Bayna Rodesli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalil El Amri having to interfere.
