Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chesterfield AFC's Bazga Yahia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Shoreham by Sea United's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Bouazza came free, but Chérif Ihaddaden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rostom Kerkar kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Shoreham by Sea United's Joudi Mazi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Makhloufi El Hadi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Shoreham by Sea United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hassan Metidji hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Chesterfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ali Bouazza. After having played for 24 minutes, Rostom Kerkar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shoreham by Sea United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rostom Kerkar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Rostom Kerkar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chesterfield AFC's Makhloufi El Hadi. Makhloufi El Hadi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rostom Kerkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makhloufi El Hadi having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Joudi Mazi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shoreham by Sea United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joudi Mazi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chérif Ihaddaden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bazga Yahia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Shoreham by Sea United's Rostom Kerkar got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rostom Kerkar made the kick off in the second half. Makhloufi El Hadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rostom Kerkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaki Messali took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chérif Ihaddaden. Chérif Ihaddaden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Chérif Ihaddaden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bazga Yahia's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Makhloufi El Hadi made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Joudi Mazi sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th match minute, Chesterfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Bouazza to maneuver through the defense. Shoreham by Sea United's Hassan Metidji shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Makhloufi El Hadi but with some difficulty. 77 minutes into the match, Shoreham by Sea United's goal looked a bit too open when Bazga Yahia came free, but Chérif Ihaddaden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joudi Mazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Nacer Adjani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bazga Yahia succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Shoreham by Sea United played a much better game than Chesterfield AFC and deserved their victory. The Chesterfield AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
