In the 13th match minute, Diss United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdechahid Sahnouni to maneuver through the defense. Lamine Laura Douibi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyes Abdelkrim in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Diss United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zahi Ziani to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Southend got a freekick which was hit by Jawed Zeghbouche. In the 22nd minute of the match Marwan Mohamed shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Souad Arrache showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Safi Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Souad Arrache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Adal Zidane made a precise shot to the right of Souad Arrache. Southend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Salem Khaled's late challenge caught a Southend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salem Khaled helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Diss United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salem Khaled to maneuver through the defense. Fayçal Larfaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zahi Ziani was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Diss United getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zahi Ziani hit a great ball. If Safi Zidane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fayçal Larfaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atik Fari kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Diss United's Marwan Mohamed shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Souad Arrache came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Diss United reached it.

The wind increased when Lyes Abdelkrim made the kick off in the second half. Adal Zidane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lamine Laura Douibi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyes Abdelkrim in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Diss United's zone, Fayçal Larfaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamine Laura Douibi came out of the goal and Fayçal Larfaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Safi Zidane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Souad Arrache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Safi Zidane succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 69th playminute. 73 minutes into the match, Southend's goalkeeper Souad Arrache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Safi Zidane. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Lyes Abdelkrim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southend's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyes Abdelkrim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lamine Laura Douibi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lamine Laura Douibi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fayçal Larfaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diss United's Lamine Laura Douibi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyes Abdelkrim in the 89th minute of play. Souad Arrache didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Safi Zidane went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Lamine Laura Douibi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fayçal Larfaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Diss United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
