Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sofiane Kerfali started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Tami Cavalli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frimley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rushden the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Tami Cavalli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hamid Laura Douibi fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frimley FC's protests and gave Hamid Laura Douibi a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Frimley FC got a freekick which was hit by Hamid Laura Douibi. Rushden's Marwan Beloufa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofiane Kerfali in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Frimley FC booed when Rushden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelghafour Apap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mounir Djazouli charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mounir Djazouli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rushden's Mounir Djazouli got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Hafid Zaghrani fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frimley FC's protests and gave Hafid Zaghrani a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 minutes of play Frimley FC's Tami Cavalli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After recieving a nice pass, Rushden's Thelma Kerrache tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Houd Yenicheri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Belmadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Frimley FC booed when Rushden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaba Ben Cherif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otman Amsallem hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thelma Kerrache didn't quite understand what happened when in the 31 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. A collision led to Frimley FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lyes Soltani hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Omar Belmadi made a precise shot to the right of Houd Yenicheri. Frimley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Ibrahim Zaghrani took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Marwan Beloufa to make any attempt to save it. Rushden's Abdelghafour Apap got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Belmadi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Belmadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Afalawas Guergour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibrahim Zaghrani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mounir Djazouli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Houd Yenicheri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Belmadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rushden booed when Frimley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyes Soltani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Thelma Kerrache shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Houd Yenicheri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Belmadi in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Houd Yenicheri saved Frimley FC from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Omar Belmadi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Houd Yenicheri, passed just outside the right post. In the 84th match minute, Frimley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sofiane Kerfali to maneuver through the defense. Mounir Djazouli spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Frimley FC's goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Belmadi got free with Houd Yenicheri in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Rushden's zone, Ibrahim Zaghrani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marwan Beloufa came out of the goal and Ibrahim Zaghrani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ibrahim Zaghrani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rushden supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rushden would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
