Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antar Benattia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youcef Metaref in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Antar Benattia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fouad Zaghbib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youcef Metaref, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youcef Metaref in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Idir Mediouna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacim Sennaoui's late challenge caught a Long Eaton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nacim Sennaoui helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Erith got a freekick which was hit by Nacim Sennaoui. Idir Mediouna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zinedine Tahar hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Giss Chadl fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erith's protests and gave Giss Chadl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, one of Erith:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Erith. Youcef Metaref struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Long Eaton. After a defensive mix-up in Erith's zone, Youcef Metaref stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief came out of the goal and Youcef Metaref tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Idir Mediouna scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Long Eaton's Fouad Zaghbib got control of the ball when Assim Souakri tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youcef Metaref in the 52nd minute of play. After 60 played minutes Long Eaton got a freekick which was hit by Okacha Meknassa. In the 64th minute of the match Erith got a corner. Long Eaton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Younes Baboudji ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Younes Baboudji got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fouad Zaghbib quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Idir Mediouna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Erith was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinedine Tahar to maneuver through the defense. If Idir Mediouna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erith's Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Erith from getting a goal against them. Abdulhamid Saïdi-Sief didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Idir Mediouna went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Bilal Lammari kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Long Eaton's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
