Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gilmorton FC's Anis Hadfi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Sabri Boukhari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderrachid Korteby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdellah Boutellas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Rahim Haddou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Gilmorton FC's goalkeeper Rahim Haddou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdellah Boutella. Rahim Haddou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bassi Belghith in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Anis Hadfi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gilmorton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anis Hadfi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdellah Boutella's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Rahim Haddou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Abdellah Boutella came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Carlton in Lindrick fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdellah Boutella couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, one of Carlton in Lindrick:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anis Hadfi in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abderrachid Korteby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Gilmorton FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Carlton in Lindrick's Abderrachid Korteby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anis Hadfi in the 59th minute of play. When Abdellah Boutella, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rahim Haddou was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdellah Boutella in the 63rd minute of play forced Gilmorton FC's goalkeeper Rahim Haddou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Sabri Boukhari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Anis Hadfi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gilmorton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anis Hadfi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilmorton FC's Rahim Haddou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdellah Boutella in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gilmorton FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
