Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferhat Khaled kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Adal Taha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adal Taha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bassi Bentaala came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Stanley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bassi Bentaala couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Ferhat Khaled dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Faouzi Dahleb, 2-0. Adal Taha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustapha Bilal having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Bassi Bentaala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferhat Khaled recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Battle's Ali Saâdi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faouzi Dahleb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faouzi Dahleb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhat Khaled, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Stanley booed when Battle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faudel Nemchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bassi Bentaala in the 42nd minute of play forced Battle's goalkeeper Mustapha Bilal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faouzi Dahleb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhat Khaled in the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Battle's zone, Bassi Bentaala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustapha Bilal came out of the goal and Bassi Bentaala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bassi Bentaala was the one to do the kick off. If Ali Saâdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Battle! 2-2 became the score in the 60th minute when Bassi Bentaala elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alaeddine Moussaoui hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Ferhat Khaled got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adal Taha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Bassi Bentaala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustapha Bilal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Adal Taha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Mustapha Bilal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 92 in the game by Adal Taha from a close distance when the talented Mustapha Bilal managed to make a qualified save. Battle's players were relieved. 95 minutes into the match, Battle's goalkeeper Mustapha Bilal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adal Taha. Stanley's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
