Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saïf Aliche started the match with the kick off. Yidir Benmabrouk hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Salah Chaffaï took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Driss Canhadja. Cottingham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wythenshaw's zone, Chafik Laura Douibi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim Belbey came out of the goal and Chafik Laura Douibi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Abdelhamid Kermali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cottingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelhamid Kermali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Belbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Wythenshaw's goalkeeper Karim Belbey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chafik Laura Douibi. In the 22nd minute, Yidir Benmabrouk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Issam Benida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Driss Canhadja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wythenshaw's Raouf Chedda got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazir Mami during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nazir Mami hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Karim Belbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelhamid Kermali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Wythenshaw's Raouf Chedda got a free kick in the 35th minute. Driss Canhadja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saïf Aliche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saïf Aliche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Saïf Aliche made a precise shot to the right of Driss Canhadja. Cottingham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Cottingham players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wythenshaw were winning 0-1.

Karim Belbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelhamid Kermali, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Wythenshaw's Issam Benida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Driss Canhadja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Driss Canhadja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saïf Aliche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelhamid Kermali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Karim Belbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelhamid Kermali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chafik Laura Douibi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Belbey having to interfere. The Wythenshaw players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
