Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nacer Malek got the match started through his kick off. Abdel Lacarne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fayçal Madjer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Lunis El Moubarek charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lunis El Moubarek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Wellesbourne City got a freekick which was hit by Lunis El Moubarek. Samy Derbouz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nacer Malek's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Abdelmadjid Metref kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Fayçal Madjer made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Djallel Fanon sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Wellesbourne City's Souad Beloufa got a free kick in the 21st minute. Samy Derbouz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacer Malek, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacer Malek in the 27th minute of play forced Southend's goalkeeper Samy Derbouz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djallel Fanon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Nacer Malek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellesbourne City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacer Malek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djallel Fanon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fayçal Madjer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdel Lacarne was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Southend's Nouara Zerouali broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Samy Derbouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacer Malek in the 66th minute of play. Samy Derbouz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacer Malek in the 73rd minute of the match. If Djallel Fanon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ibrahim Saïfi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samy Derbouz having to interfere. Samy Derbouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacer Malek in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wellesbourne City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
