Mahboub Bilal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayoub Deriassa in the 4th minute of play. Rachid Bouazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kader Bedjaoui in the 5th minute of the match. Mahboub Bilal was a little too slow when Ayoub Deriassa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ayoub Deriassa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahboub Bilal having to interfere. Ayoub Deriassa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahboub Bilal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Burnham on Sea AFC. Imad Abbas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rachid Bouazza. 1-1. In the 20th minute, Burnham on Sea AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hamid Kherchi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ayoub Deriassa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mahboub Bilal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ayoub Deriassa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Kherchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mahboub Bilal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wrea Green AFC's Rachid Bouazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imad Ouyahia in the 39th minute of play. Aksil Hammad's late challenge caught a Burnham on Sea AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aksil Hammad helped the player get up and apologised. When Burnham on Sea AFC's Imad Ouyahia in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wrea Green AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Imad Ouyahia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Imad Ouyahia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Hamid Kherchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wrea Green AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamid Kherchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamid Kherchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayoub Deriassa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahboub Bilal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Kherchi in the 66th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahboub Bilal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wrea Green AFC's Rachid Bouazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Wrea Green AFC from getting a goal against them. Kader Bedjaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rachid Bouazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laïd Assad during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Burnham on Sea AFC booed when Wrea Green AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laïd Assad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wrea Green AFC's Hakim Assad was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mahboub Bilal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hamid Kherchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mahboub Bilal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of Burnham on Sea AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Wrea Green AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
